Thoughts on Busking at Pike Place Market

This summer I acquired my busking license for Pike Place Market in Seattle. My creative biz partner came along for my first run to capture footage. Then she asked me if I would rattle off some thoughts about the experience into my iPhone. Then she chopped it all up, added some herbs and spices and I was sent this lovely piece.

Busking provides perks in terms of how I think about performance but the main reason I’m singing Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé covers at Pike Place is to tell you beautiful people about my first love in the Emerald City: my residency at Sea Monster Lounge.

This is where we’re building something special. This is where it all comes alive. This is where I’d love to spend my time with you, Seattle.
