In January of last year I asked the lovely readers of Adjusting the Dial to request a song that would help cheer them up, or keep them in a good mood if they were already there. This was inspired by a post from Jeff Tweedy on his Substack, Starship Casual. Thank you, Jeff.

Archie. The golden lab I am looking after this holiday season.

Spotting the golden lab outside, the barista asked if I wanted a puppuccino. Having no idea what it was I was intrigued. “Yes, I’d love one.”

But her offer was conditional: we must present it to the lucky recipient by the window so the staff could watch him enjoy it.

“Done.”

I wish you as much happiness for this year ahead as a puppuccino brings Archie…which is to say, a lot!
